THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before
kick-off.

What is the difference between MatchDesk and MatchCast?+

MatchDesk is your match-day workspace for scores, timing and player movement. MatchCast connects coaching insights, role-specific match views and scorebug and presentation control for production crews. The technical-zone view remains inside MatchDesk.

Do MatchCast viewers need an account?+

Native MatchCast supports match-code access and connected Footprint access. Cloud Web Insight requires no account sign-in. It accepts six-digit Insight or Broadcast codes for read-only access; Manager and Match Coding codes are not accepted. MatchDesk account access is a separate flow.

Can we rehearse before match day?+

Production setup and rehearsal form part of the planned MatchCast workflow. Licence terms and availability remain unconfirmed; production services are not yet offered for sale.

When do replacements appear in commentary?+

Replacements appear in commentary once confirmed at the match desk. Earlier visibility of a team’s own requests is being explored for the team experience and is not a confirmed launch feature.

When can I sign up or access a live match?+

You can try the Cloud Web Insight pilot now. App downloads and subscriptions will follow after final testing, privacy checks and App Store approval. Open Web Insight with a six-digit Insight or Broadcast code.
